Ghajini has everything in it! It's a full on entertainer! Action, romance, comedy, drama, suspense, style....all packed in one! Aamir was superlative in Ghajini, I mean I have no words to describe Aamir's performance in the film! Asin was outstanding too! She was too cute and adorable with her effervescent act as Kalpana....your heart goes out to her. In fact, the Aamir-Asin scenes are fantastic and quite endearing! Aamir-Asin scenes are among the high points of Ghajini! Jiah Khan was good too. I didn't expect much from her after Nishabd, but she's proved me wrong. Aamir is surely the highlight of Ghajini!! With his superb performance, he seamlessly fits in all his avatars and contrasting situations in the film. Action sequences were AWESOME!! (Not as gory or distasteful as rumoured to be) The film is so engaging that you don't even realise how time went by. The romantic scenes between Aamir and Asin are heartwarming - especially the scenes where Asin finally says 'yes' to Aamir's 'guzarish' for love (that scene is hilarious as well as emotional), or the scene where Aamir & Asin, for the first time enter together in Asin's new flat...I need not mention more since it would give away the excitement! Aamir was ferocious in action scenes! He looked slick & suave in his business tycoon avatar and a sweetheart in romantic scenes! Your heart really goes to his character, who's struggling with his memory loss and his bottled up anguish at the loss of his beloved. Yet he overcomes all odds to find and eliminate her killers. Asin's sequences right from her entry, her meeting with Aamir, their declaration of love for each other to her murder are absolutely great! A new star is born! Ghajini is a winner all the way! And you'll like it whether you're an Aamir fan or not! It's a really entertaining and emotionally charged film and not all gore and violence. Go for it!

As already said, Ghajini is not another Memento. They are like north and south pole meeting through some common longitudes like short term memory, the passion of main lead character, methods of remembering things etc. But the story telling approach is totally different. So the must condition to see Ghajini is to forget Memento before entering the cinema otherwise you would end up wasting your time in comparing these two instead of enjoying some wonderful acting, excellent songs/music and some heart warming scenes. There is no point in telling about Aamir, the perfectionist. As always, he has done true justice to the role of a man suffering from short term memory syndrome. He is a bit loud in expressions in some action/intense scenes but that is his character's nature and also demand of the story. Without this, you would not be able to believe some of his fights where he is fighting men who look stronger than him. He is passionate. He has only one goal in life. If he hits, he hits with all his power. The surprise element is the leading lady, Asin. She is a kind a character that will bring a smile on your face when she is on screen. She is a part of few of the light moments in the movie where you will smile, some will also laugh. But there are few scenes, specially in serious scenes where she is kind of ok. But overall she has a done a wonderful job. Now the time for bad guys. Well Pradeep Rawat is good but he could have done it better. Jia's character is important and interesting. Overall, movie is good and a must watch. Don't go by other person's opinion. You never know, this may be the best movie this year for you.

Folks , this is not the usual Amir brilliance stuff . He is bold and gutsy to experiment with new themes and has usually succeded well . Great movie but a bit too long . First half could have been tighter.

Full marks to Cinematographer - close shots , romantic panoramas , dynamic action sequences to eyes of Amir to Amir’s cherubic smile , all have been beautifully captured .

The theme and the story is new , but background score is not - seems we have heard it before . Amir is a world class actor in India , the extent of detailing he has put in his character makes the movie a sure watch. But Javed Ali’s voice in Guzarish did not suit Amir . He had better options.

7Last sequence belabors .Of course we could have done without Jiah Khan’s item number and Jiah as medical student ...wow... Asin does full justice to expectations from her role and comes up with a wide range of emotions rather than just giggle and look pretty. She is assertive, naughty, doe-eyed romantic, unsure, scared, and bubbly.

Action sequence are a must watch. Avoid your school going kids to the movie if you want to keep them away from blood, gore and violence. One gets the feeling of having seen that sequence earlier, thru-out the movie .We knew when cell-phone ring would would play a spoil sport and end could have been twisted better rather than offering "feel-good" solution

“Aamir’s film†lives upto expectations in many ways and in some ways it disappoints. There is a taut story line on a definintely “hatke†theme. The performances are uniformly good and the direction is consistently purposeful. The movie starts with a murder committed by Aamir’s character after a brief introduction by Jiah Khan, the medico who is keen on studying his case history. The film’s grip only firms up as the movie progresses. Aamir plays Sanjay Singhania who is (you guessed it – a singhania can only be an industrialist) a tycoon. The screenplay lacks crispness but the flashback revealing his past is entertaining. The movie, when it moves to flashback mode sustains its grip by taking a refreshing, innocent look at love. This is where Asin steps in. She has a chunky role that was not apparent in the promos of the film.

There is something disorienting (in a nice way) about a hindi film heroine who is not obsessed with her designer figure and clothes. Even more strangely she has qualities to her that have nothing to do with aloo ke parathe. She takes up screen time without batting her eyelashes or being a victim. She actually has this social conscience. I suppose that would be the south influence – it’s a welcome relief. Asin is a more than competent actress – she is genuinely charming. Surprsisingly though I felt Jiah, with her limited role was equally good. Asin and Aamir showed an unfortunate lack of chemistry which cannot be entirely blamed on the script (which focuses more on how impressed Aamir is by Asin’s individuality). But Jiah and Aamir actually look cool together. Look forward to more of her understated oomph!

Ultimately the film banks on Aamir amd his well-developed-and-shown-to-advantage pectorals. As the aggressive Sanjay, Aamir shines in this exceedingly physical role. With hardly any dialogues and in the absence of any “personalityâ€, he seeks to convey the restless quest for vengeance that is frustrated by its own incapacity to remember the enemy. And he succeeds big time. Characterisation has always been a thing with Aamir. All his screen personas have been memorable, from their unique attitudes right down to their quirky names (Raghu Jaitley se Nikumbh tak). But clearly, playing this undefined, vague character is right up his alley too.

The climax with its one-man-army action-sequence is pretty well executed too. So no two ways about it – go watch!

The film has its share of flaws though, the most glaring one of which is that it is not pacy enough for a thriller. The love angle could have been more efficiently shown in a shorter time. As it is, even given the amount of sreen time, the vibes between the lead pair could have been more apparent. The choreography is very south and seems awkward at times. I found Aamir’s attire in the guzaarish song too fanciful and his pants(culottes??) silly…….But then these are all minor points which I can’t help but notice since it is an “Aamir filmâ€. Otherwise in this tizzy of time-pass films, here is a film that will actually tell a story that holds your interest and entertain you at the same time.

Good movie. First half is hilarious but the second half is tragic and full of extreme violence. Aamir has made a remarkable body and showed it very well on screen. Asin being a Tamil actress is very impressive and remarkable. One cannot say that she hails from Tamilnadu. She has performed her role very well withut anything missing. Although the plot was “inspired†form “momento†but they shuld have refrained from copying the exact things which are used in the movie like the maps, camera, tattoos etc. Ghajini who is protrayed as a massive villain is up to the mark. He is being killed in a very normal fashion which is agianst the hype the movie is creating.

The movie is made very tragic and extreme violence is used therefore the audience will not go again and again to watch this movie. The end is also not a happy end which may have been different. Songs, which are already superhit, are fabulously shooted. The song "Guzarish" shooted at extravagent location in Namibia is the main attraction of the movie. Casting is perfect and screenplay is superb.

After watching the much awaited movie of the year Ghajini premier I am here to update you on the movie in my style! After watching the original version I was keen in comparing what AAMIR has actually done to stand out, well one big differentiating factor is Aamir’s 8 packs perfect abs, but one point of time I wondered “ what difference it could have made without so much hard work on toning up†I felt scenes have been changed to show aamir’s body frankly. Well coming to the performance Aamir as you know is versatile and he very well stood up to the mark. Asin looks gorgeous in the film and as usual she has given her best in the movie, I would say she would go really long way in bollywood, there are some implausible scenes in the movie where asin has left the audience mesmerized. Climax has been changed and also the movie name “Ghajini†is actually heroes name in original but here it is supposed to be villain’s name. But I felt the movie is exactly a copy of original “point to point†but only drawback of the movie is Jiah Khan she has been given such an important role and she truly wasted it!! The original character was played by south super star Nayantara and she was brilliant, she created so much eagerness in the movie to know what and how all this happened to the Hero(Aamir) since she is a medical student studying his case, Jiah sorry you definitely need to find some other profession.

Finally about the story! Movie starts in medical college on jiah khan with a lecture on human brain and the power of sub conscious mind! Each student is asked to pick up a project subject and jiah picks up our hero Aamir’s subject. Aamir is a patient of short term memory loss case who cannot remember things more than 15 minutes but he can carry out his basic activities through the power of his subconscious mind. Then the introduction of Aamir with a door breaking entry , followed by a tough fight killing the opponent finally with a water tap. Aamir carry’s his camera which reminds him to click picture every fifteen minutes to remember things, he finds his way back home with the help of notes and pictures. The flat is filled with maps, pictures, next targets normal guide lines like camera here, phone here etc..

One of the best scene of the movie is when aamir wakes up in the morning and he doesn’t remember anything as usual, who I am i? where I am i? his acting spell bounds you here. Finally he ends up in the bathroom with instruction “remove your T-shirt†That’s how he starts his day by recollecting things to do. A smart cop chases Aamir with hints and finally grabs a hold on him and when searching his flat he finds Aamirs diary which narrates the story.

In the movie Aamir is MD of Airvoice so called leading telecom company in India and Asin a struggling model who finds her place in all c grade commercials from Hammam to chwayanparash. For airvoice new branding Aamir’s team approach Asin for hoarding placement on her terrace but the conversation gets misunderstood by her Ad unit as a marriage proposal for her from Airvoice MD as Kalpana(Asin) plays a naughty and helpful character in help immediately grabs the opportunity to play around. This incident catches the eye of media and knocks Sanjay singhania(Aamir) reputation.

Now Sanjay(Aamir) wants to clarify things with Kalpana(Asin) and ends up falling in love with her and pretends to be a struggling model. The story from here is quite exciting with good music like “Behka Behka song and romance between Kalpana(Asin) and Sanjay(Aamir).

After this wakes up and the cop gets killed, now Aamir recollects who is supposed to kill a man called Ghajini Dharmaraju from his photos and hints but in between Jiah mistakes Sanjay(Aamir) for a psycho and gets him to trouble by handing him over to police.

In her rumble at Sanjay(Aamir) house she grabs his diaries and now the second part of the story starts from here with a beautiful song “Guzharish†but the diary tells the story only till Sanjay leaves to London and Kalpana to goa for ten days and nobody knows what happened to both of them after that.

Now medical student becomes an investigator and starts collecting clues and figuring out what could have happened and finally she reveals that Kalpana(Asin) has been brutally murdered in front of Sanjay(Aamir) by Villan the reason for killing I am not going to reveal its better to watch in cinema!!

I hope I have created enough enthusiasm now so please go and watch… its worth watching!!
