I have been reading the reviews regularly and was very keen to see what it was really like. Was it as bad as some had said or as good as some are raving about it. Well the wait was finally over this evening. I entered the hall dont know what was to come. It really was the Masala film I grew up on. Brilliant. The problem is because of his last few films Aamir is considered as more suitable for hat ke films and leave the normal run of the mill to other actors. But this time he has tried his hands on a complete commercial film and has again done a brilliant job. May be the fault lies in us as we expect him to the kind of movie we like him in. But as an actor that is his prerogative and we should respect that. I fail to understand why are people disappointed. Aamir from the very beginning has been saying this is his complete typical masala film. Go watch it for a beautiful love story and the performances. Paisa wasool

when i went into theater on thursday to watch the movie i had lots of expectations from an aamir khan movie.....i was expecting it to be of hollywood standards but unfortunately found it to be of rajnikant standards....i saw rajnikant, cheeranjivi and nagarjuna simultaneouly in aamir khan.....in first 15 minutes i was frustrated by the loudness of the movie..the background score...the typical tollywood camera angles....the zoom in zoom out on every small incident/object.....it was headache...aamir was suffering from short term memory every 15 minutes but after watching movie i m still having head aches every 15 minutes.....the only positive part of movie was asin...she was very good and her initial 45 minutes with aamir were enjoyable....there were couple of good songs too...rest was very pathetic ...aamir acted well at 3 or 4 places only...most of the times he was overacting in phycho killers role...although he was ok in pre-interval portions

The movie is worth more than a single watch and its definitely gonna break quite a few records. Had watched the Tamil version and was least expecting from the movie. But the movie stunned me ... as it was very well made compared to the original tamil flick. Aamir and Asin ... they rock. Hats off Murugudoss for dishing out a complete entertainer.
