Ghajini is a average movie. Amir failed our expectation, being a perfectionist this was not expected from him. I saw original ghajini and the Tamil actor (Surya) acted miled better than Amir. Amir sorry but u lost. SRK made us smile and u just left wondering when can we cherish even a single moment in the whole film.

I am sure by now there isnt a single person in India who doesnt know what Ghajini is about. There is a hero. There is a heroine. Both fall in love. Villain kills heroine, and in the climax hero kills villain(Surprise!Surprise!). Oh, there is a 15 minute memory loss and a Jiah Khan in there somewhere. In spite of this century old revenge plot, Ghajini works. Mainly beacuse of Aamir's performance, Murugadoss' direction and the interesting angle in the screenplay (the amnesia thingy). The comical breezy love story between Asin and Aamir is quite enjoyable in the first half. Screenplay keeps using flashbacks to establish their love story and explain Aamir's current state( you know that all muscly, tattooed, weird hairdo, and screaming one which you have seen in the promos). But it begins to irk in the second half as you already know Asin is dead and you want the story to get on to it. And at times when the story does focus on the present, all Aamir has to do is either bash up goons or look confused every 15 minutes (soon enough a camera beeps to help him clear his confusion). If you find that silly, dont worry the movie has a few others to wriggle out of any messy point in the screenplay. Thats the main problem in the movie - the story is illogical filled with a number of surprising coincidences.Also the action sequences get tiresome after a while. I mean how many times do we have to see our hero bash up 100 guys in one go!!! But the movie celebrates its dumbness in a way that we can enjoy, thanks to combination of Aamir and Murugadoss. They believe in their product and convince the audience to do so. They maintain a certain level of thrill and suspense throughout the movie.Coming to performances- Aamir excels, Asin (though shakes her head and body too much) is likeable, Jiah irritates. Oh and more thing: I couldnt help but wonder how come Aamir never forgot his exercise routine which obviously lasted for more than 15 minutes.

I had already seen the Tamil version say around 4 years ago and liked it a lot Surya and asin were fabulous, now after watching the Hindi version I must say it is even better,mainly for amir, i have no words to describe his power packed performance i think its his lifetime best performance, I think asin is wonderful and will go a long way in Hindi cinema,the villain pradeep rawat was really cruel asins death scene brought tears in my eyes.
