This does not look like a movie, it looks like Telefilm. I am sorry but i didn't expect this from a showman subash ghai work. The director who directed the movie like Karz, Pardes, Ram Lakhan and khalnayak,, all these movies were my fovorite one. I even liked his Yaadein. Although Yaadein was a flop movie but i liked it but this one i didn't like it. This movie will be flop movie. I am sure this movie will be worst that RAM GOPAL VERMA KE SHOLAY.

Ghai Works this time again. He made a serious topic quite musical. On the other hand that movie STINKS badly. full of drama and full drama. As a movie i can say that was an average movie but according to story telling that is worst Ghai ever made. I dont mind these topics but what they are trying to say in the name of truth.

If I honestly say Taran Adarsh is knw bcomin more commercial then a real Reviewer when he say some thing about the biggies like subash ghai then I can understand he shud be more carefull so he did the same while review of Black & White.Actually the subject of B&W is really Good but Ghai is confused in all his story tellin of B&W.KHUDA KE LIYE is more better then wat actually Ghai gave the message of LOVE in B&W.Performance wise Anil n Anurag is Brilliant n the Old man he is fabulous but the pertrait of Anil Kapoor role was so filmy and Shefali is a brilliant actress she is more n more talented then wat Ghai took out from her in B&W.This kind of subject shud be portrait in Good way the only thing which can be appreciate about this movie is capturing Delhi so beautifully there is no Intensity in this movie n I dont know wat Taran Adarsh saw in this movie for which he is praising Ghai.Ghai is par excellent then wat he gave in B&W I want to 1 thing to all watch KHUDA KE LIYE which is more in to the root of Terrorism n Love hats off to Shoib Mansoor the Director of the movie..but Subash Ghai made the movie which is soul less no passion no intensity nor any Directorial Achievement.

This film is about a terrorist who wants to bring down the Red Fort on 15th Aug and his 15 days that he spends out there in Delhi's Chandni Chowk till D day. As you must have guessed, that at the end, like all predictable hindi films, he does not blow himself up! Nevertheless, its towards the end, is when you get the message that Subhash Ghai is sending across. And yes, I will agree, its something that you need to think about it. On the whole, the film is with a message, but it does have its loop holes. The music and the pace of the film being its weakest links. Anil K, Anurag and Shefali are excellent in their roles. The character that I adored the most however is the old professor. He's got the best lines in the film.

Black n White is a nice movie and one of the best ever i watched. It not belongs from todays trend of comedy, it is totaly out of leak. Subhash Ghai who diretcted last movie KISNA is a diasestor, but this time shows that he is real showman. Deviating from the large canvas, extravagant sets and soulful-music-with-lavish-settings, he comes up with a film that’s real, that pricks your conscience… a film that’s in sharp contrast to his earlier accomplishments. It's story is great .The story of BLACK & WHITE is one of its USPs. BLACK & WHITE tries to peep into the psyche of a human bomb, a fanatic who has a change of heart gradually. The transformation of a heartless, cold-blooded murderer to someone whose inner voice tells him to revolt against his ‘masters’, the change is well depicted on screen. Newcomer Anurag performs very well, he is excellent in some scence specially in climax scence. Obvious Anil Kapoor is versatlie actor n this time too he prove it. Shefali Shah is also give marvelous performence after WAQT. Music composed by Sukhvinder Singh is also melodiuos. "Jogi aaya" n "Main chala" are very well. According to me It should be Tax Free and it deserve it. It can't be a Supar Hit but it will do very well.

Taran sahab didn't give justified remarks about this movie. if we look for the subash gai history his almost all movies revolves around inspiration or rich guy poor girl. i donno abt khalnaik, but when DDLG Came, subash gai made pardes, when Lagan came he made old time movie Kisna, similarly early he made pardes, yadain,Ram Lakhan, Taal all of them have rich guy and poor girl. this time i finally see the over of Gai's creativity, he is fully inspired by the Pakistani movie Khuda Kay liye which was much much better then Black and White. I suggest Ghai that if he is really running out of money or Creativity, please stop making such pethatic movies. Finally he had Sukhwinder for the music who is a young composer and doing the same mistake which Pappi da done, by just promoting his own voice and not giving the professional music, ghai must hired him for free I am sure.

Bursting with musical ecstasy, Black & White will surely strike a chord only with musical connoisseurs. Of course for those ears are trained to heavy metal and contemporary music, it is bound to seem questionable. Which is my Mr. Tuteja should not be permitted to review music of the genre of Black & White and Jodha Akbar: it is like offering a rose to a monkey; what is a beautiful flower will be stripped to petals and discarded with filth. Returning to the film tracks, there is 'Jogi Aaya' which is liquid melody. When you shut your eyes and listen to the song, you feel like someone who has had a whole pint of wine, and is lying in the darkness of a pub, alone, away from the crowd, remembering a lover. 'Main chala' is sublime, inspirational, with melody that claws at your ears even after the songs, and lyrics that stir a little storm within. 'Peer Manava' is a celebration, and fills you with the theme of festivity. It has a raw beauty to it that is scented with earth dust and decorated with claps. You are left with a feeling of joi-de-verve by the time the song ends. 'Haq Allah' is a powerful song that falls under the Sufi genre. With lyrics that will bring about a surge of faith in those who listen intently. 'Ye Hindustan Hai' is a patriotic number reminiscent of songs in some of older Subhash Ghai films. It grows over you, especially the music piece used in the beginning of the song and then repeated in the song many times over. Again, set Mr. Tuteja's review aside, and treat yourself to this brilliant album. You are worth every second of breathtaking melody this album offers.
