The long wait for one of India’s most anticipated films seems to have finally begun! Superstar Mahesh Babu and visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli playfully teased their much-awaited collaboration — tentatively titled SSMB29 — through a hilarious social media banter that soon went viral. Joining the fun were global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran, confirming their association with the magnum opus in the most unexpected way.

The fun exchange began when Mahesh Babu playfully reminded SS Rajamouli about his long-promised November update on their upcoming film, teasing him about the project’s delay. Rajamouli responded in his usual calm style, hinting that revelations would come “slowly,” prompting Mahesh to joke about waiting until 2030. He then mischievously dragged Priyanka Chopra Jonas into the conversation, suggesting she had already been sharing glimpses from Hyderabad. As Rajamouli lamented that Mahesh had “ruined the surprise,” the actor added another twist by asking if Prithviraj Sukumaran was also part of that surprise — bringing the Malayalam star into the banter.

 

Prithviraj Sukumaran replied, “Sir @ssrajamouli, I’m running out of alibis for these Hyderabad ‘vacations.’ If I keep this up any longer, my family will start doubting me.” Rajamouli humorously responded, “@urstrulyMahesh … now you ruined everything.”

 

 

The playful exchange concluded with Mahesh calling for a truce: “Let’s call it a truce. Put out something tomorrow, which everyone already knows. You can still call it a surprise.” Prithviraj signed off with, “I know sir! You love your villains the most!” while Priyanka dropped a gif captioned, “Hahaha. Better luck next time @urstrulyMahesh..
