By Nandini Iyengar -

More than half a year has passed, and as we get closer to the next quarter of 2023, K-dramaland seems to keep getting interesting. July saw the rise of dramas like Revenant, See You in My 19th Life and King the Land. As these dramas come to a conclusion and make way for the new ones, August seems to hold promise in regards to fresh pairings, new stories and a sprinkle of variety of genres. EXO’s SUHO returns to acting with Behind Your Touch which stars Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki in the lead. SF9’s Rowoon makes a comeback too, with Destined With You. August also sees an increase in webtoon-adapted K-dramas with Mask Girl, My Dearest and Moving. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming K-dramas releasing in the month of August 2023.

From Han Hyo Joo starrer Moving to Han Ji Min starrer Behind Your Touch – 8 K-dramas to watch in August 2023

The two cross paths and eventually fall in love. My Dearest is set to release on August 4.

2. MOVING

Did you wait for a good sci-fi superhero story in K-dramaland? Your wait might just come to an end with Moving. This K-drama is based on a webtoon of the same name which tells the story of a bunch of young students who inherited superpowers from their parents. The show stars Lee Jung Ha, Hang Hyo Joo, Kim Do Hoon and Go Youn Jung in the lead. The story gets more thrilling as the trio has to keep their abilities a secret. Moving premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on August 9.

5. BEHIND YOUR TOUCH

Lee Min Ki and Han Mi Jin, both actors have their unique abilities to draw the viewer’s attention towards them with each and any role they take up.
