Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell's childhood home burglarized; suspect arrested: reports

Los Angeles police have arrested a suspect after he allegedly tried to break into the childhood home of Hollywood pop singer Billie Eilish and her music producer brother Finneas O'Connell. According to People, the L.A. Police Department officers responded to a call from the Highland Park neighborhood around 9:15 p.m. local time on Thursday evening, tied to a report of a man hopping over a fence and into the home's yard, ABC 7 reported.

The suspect was reportedly in an all-black attire wearing a black mask. The house is owned by Eilish and O'Connell’s parents. According to the Los Angeles Times, it's still unclear if anything was stolen from the house. Meanwhile, the L.A. house is also, where Eilish and O'Connell recorded a large majority of Eilish's debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

 

In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2019, the seven-time Grammy winner revealed how ‘traumatizing’ it was when her address was leaked so much so that she had to hire security. "I completely don't feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks,” she said at the time. “I love my house."

 

"I've loved attention my whole life, but I don't think anyone knows what fame actually is,” Eilish added. “Because if I did want to be famous, it wasn't this kind."
