In a tweet issued shortly after Poonam Pandey clarified that she is alive, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani voiced his disapproval, denouncing the stunt and its potential consequences on public trust.

In an Instagram post addressing the misinformation, Pandey spoke about the importance of understanding and combating cervical cancer while highlighting its preventable nature through vaccination and early detection tests. She stated, "I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn’t claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease."

 

Initial reports of Pandey's demise were corroborated by her manager, who shared an official announcement on Instagram. However, Pandey's subsequent clarification on her status has dispelled the earlier narrative, prompting a wave of reactions from both celebrities and netizens.
