Watch: Bipasha Basu's Hollywood film The Lovers
A long time back, it was reported that Bipasha Basu would soon be seen making her Hollywood debut with the film Singularity. However, despite a few images of her look in the film being released, there was no word on when the film would release. And now finally the trailer of the film was released on May 23, 2014.

However, in the interim the film that was initially titled Singularity has now been renamed as The Lovers. Featuring Josh Harnett, Tamsin Egerton and Bipasha Basu, the film is the story of Jay Fennel who after a dangerous dive to save his wife while exploring an 18th century merchant ship wreckage, lies brain dead in a Boston hospital. The story follows Jay's dream-like coma that takes us back in time to Pune, in 1778.
With the British invading the palaces, a young British captain named is about to embark on a dangerous mission. In the course of his mission he falls in love with an Indian warrior named Tulaja (Bipasha Basu) translating his mission into an impossible love which he must fight for.
