Varun Sood has been receiving a lot of praise for his portrayal of Prince in the web series Call Me Bae, where he stars alongside Ananya Panday. Reflecting on the positive reception since the show's release, Varun shared his excitement: “This has been a dream start. Everyone has loved the show and each and every character in it. A lot of critics and netizens spoke about my character Prince in particular as to how beautifully I portrayed him."

Call Me Bae is Varun's third fiction project of the year, and he’s thrilled with how well fans have embraced his latest role. He spoke about his growth and versatility as an actor: "They have seen me in two different avatars before, and this was completely different. I'm happy people are loving my work."

Varun also mentioned the overwhelming response from fans. The outpouring of messages and calls has left him feeling grateful. "It’s so special. When the shoot of the show ended, everyone from the cast and crew would tell me that Prince is their favourite. Getting the same response from people is incredibly special," he shared.
