Twinkle Khanna recalls hilarious antics with sister Rinke; shares PRICELESS throwback pic featuring dad Rajesh Khanna

Twinkle Khanna, author, former actress, and wife of Akshay Kumar, never fails to charm fans with her witty anecdotes and warm family stories. Recently, she delighted her social media followers with a trip down memory lane, sharing unseen photos with her sister, Rinke Khanna, and recounting a hilarious childhood misadventure.

The post features two captivating images. The first, a throwback black and white picture, captures Twinkle and Rinke as cherubic children, their smiles beaming brightly beside their father, Rajesh Khanna. The second snapshot, seemingly from a vacation, features Rinke in a stylish black hat and shades, while Twinkle opts for a vibrant printed dress.

Accompanying the heartwarming visuals is a delightful story of sibling love and mischief. Twinkle reveals, "My sister and I are a year apart. I was always the giant, and she was petite. At times, we resembled Tom and Jerry, and sometimes, depending on my weight, Laurel and Hardy."

The tale takes a humorous turn as Twinkle confesses to playfully misleading her future brother-in-law. "As her husband likes to recount, when he first came to meet my sister, I informed him, 'You need to know we have different fathers. My father is Vinod Khanna, and hers is Rajesh Khanna, that's why I am tall and she is not.' My sister was livid, though I thought it was quite funny."

Despite the occasional mischievous jab, Twinkle underscores the strong foundation of their sisterhood. "But whenever I am in trouble, she is the first one by my side. She calls me every day, even if it's to chat about mundane events. I can't say that if life is a desert, she is my only oasis, but I know that under the scorching sun, she will definitely share that wide-brimmed hat with me, even if it's just to throw some shade my way:)," she concludes with a playful wink.
