Squid Game star Wi Ha-joon lauds Yash’s KGF, says it is “incredibly fun”
South Korean actor Wi Ha Joon, best known for his role in the global phenomenon Squid Game, has expressed admiration for Indian superstar Yash’s blockbuster film KGF, highlighting its high-octane action and cinematic scale.
Speaking about Indian cinema, Wi Ha Joon shared his appreciation for KGF, describing it as a standout action spectacle. “You know, I know of an Indian film called KGF which is a very fierce action film — a really intense film which hunts down villains. It’s incredibly flashy, incredibly large scale and incredibly fun. So hopefully if I get an offer, I’d be looking forward to a script that’s just as fierce and intense as that.”
His remarks underscore the growing global recognition of Indian films, particularly KGF, which has garnered massive acclaim for its stylised storytelling, powerful performances, and grand scale.
