Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty have long been one of Bollywood’s most successful actor-director duos, having delivered massive hits like the Golmaal series, Singham, and Bol Bachchan. Their professional bond is matched by a deep personal friendship, and Shetty’s support for Raid 2 reflects that enduring connection.

 

 

Before Rohit Shetty, the trailer had already received praise from Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar, who all lauded the film’s high-stakes narrative and Devgn’s commanding presence. Shetty’s post adds more star power to the buzz surrounding the sequel to the 2018 hit Raid.

 

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the original, the sequel promises to take the tension and thrill a notch higher.

 

Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the fearless income tax officer, and the trailer hints at a darker, more intense battle against corruption. Set against a fresh backdrop and featuring a gripping storyline, Raid 2 is slated for a theatrical release on 1st May 2025.

 

With industry stalwarts rallying behind it and expectations running high, Raid 2 looks set to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
