Koffee With Karan 8 FIRST PROMO: Ranveer Singh reveals he secretly got engaged to Deepika Padukone in 2015: "Iske pehle ki koi aur aa jaye main jaake chappal rakh deta hoon"
The beloved couch is back with the host Karan Johar as Hotstar Specials’ Koffee with Karan returns for season 8. To spice up your life and bring you closer to your favourite stars, this time the conversations will be edgier, crazier and candid with no room to escape. Being the most awaited season, the first episode couldn’t get any better as star-couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone come together for the first time ever on the Koffee couch, spilling the beans on their marriage, proposal and more.
Karan Johar asks the two if they are secretly engaged and guess what? Ranveer Singh has no qualms in admitting; “In 2015, I had proposed to her, iske pehle ki koi aur aa jaye main jaake chappal rakh deta hoon,” said the superstar
Deepika Padukone reveals ‘I am married to Rocky Randhawa’ when asked if she would date Rocky Randhawa!
Moreover, when asked who she shares good chemistry with other than her beloved husband, Deepika says, “I think I have amazing chemistry with Hrithik, which everyone is going to see”. Well, Ranveer takes this as an opportunity to mimic Hrithik, leaving us wanting to know more!
In the episode, fans will get to see the first visuals of Deepika and Ranveer’s 2018 wedding for the first time ever. While the couple had a private wedding in 2018, an intimate affair with very close family and friends in attendance, fans will get to see a sneak peek from it after almost 5 years. While the photos that the couple released are still adored and are considered goals, the unseen footage from the wedding will definitely break the Internet. Ranveer also mentioned he had proposed to Deepika in 2015 and that they were secretly engaged for all those years.
Koffee With Karan season 8 will kick off on October 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
