Kiran Rao to send hand-written postcards for her film Dhobi Ghat
After a successful directorial debut by Aamir Khan in the form of Taare Zameen Par, it's now the turn of Aamir's better-half Kiran Rao to showcase her directorial skills with her maiden directorial venture Dhobi Ghat.

Dhobi Ghat stars Prateik, Monica Dogra, Kriti Malhotra and of course Aamir Khan. The film may be a couple of months away from release but the promotions seem to have already begun. Aamir Khan Productions is known for innovative marketing style and this time too, things are no different. For Dhobi Ghat, director Kiran Rao will personally write post cards to all friends in the media and online community of the film. In these post cards, Kiran will share her personal experiences about the shooting of Dhobi Ghat and interesting facts about Mumbai.-The City of Dreams.
The first post card also contains an invite to members of the media to attend the first look unveiling of the film that is scheduled to take place on Nov 17 in Mumbai. Dhobi Ghat is scheduled to release on Jan 21, 2011.
