Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra share their first Holi post as a married couple

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are winning hearts with their perfect ‘couple goal’ photos from their wedding celebrations. While audiences can’t get enough of what the couple has been upto post marriage, recently, they decided to share a special post on their first Holi together as newlyweds. While audiences eagerly await to see the kind of Holi they will be playing, in this one, they have a glimpse of the way they put color on each other with Haldi during their wedding function.

We all are aware of the lavish big fat Indian pre-wedding functions which also includes the auspicious Mehendi (heena) and haldi (turmeric) ceremonies. While Heena is all about applying it on the hand, the Haldi celebrations are considered auspicious and has a special significance in Indian weddings. It is generally held on the day of the wedding or a day before. While, in the past, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra did showcase glimpses of their outfit choices for the day on social media, their recent posts featured them soaked in Haldi as everyone was seen applying the turmeric paste on them.

 

The couple, who seemed overjoyed and happy to celebrate their wedding captioned it along with a special wish for SidKiara fans saying, “Happy Holi from me and my love to you and yours <3<3<3<3<3” along with multi colored heart emojis. Celebrities like comedian turned host Krushna Abhishek, stylist Tanvi Ghavri as well as fans dropped their comments along with the post. While Krushna said, “Best jodi love to you guys (hug emoji)”, Tanvi addressed them as “Cuties <3”.

 

 

For the unversed, Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot with Kiara Advani in a lavish week-long ceremony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The couple later flew to Delhi to Malhotra residence as well as hosted a reception in the capital for their relatives and kin. Later, they also hosted a lavish reception in Mumbai for the film fraternity and their colleagues.
