Kargil Vijay Diwas: Akshay Kumar salutes Bravehearts who sacrificed their lives
Akshay Kumar offered a unique message in honor of the soldiers who gave their lives in the line of duty. Sharing a tweet on Kargil Vijay Diwas, he wrote, "Remembering our bravehearts who fought valiantly and sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. My salute to our heroes, aap hain toh hum hain #KargilVijayDiwas."
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, July 26th, the nation honors our heroic warriors who fought in the Kargil War. India successfully took control of the high outposts on this day in 1999. The Kargil War, which began in May 1999 and lasted over 60 days, ended on July 26, 1999.
