Actor Kareena Kapoor took a moment off her glam-prep to embrace motherhood as her younger son returned from school. On Friday, she treated fans to images of her event-look via Instagram, but it was a tender snapshot with her little boy that truly stole the spotlight.

Kareena shared several photos she wore a chic printed shirt paired with a fringe-detailed skirt, her hair sleekly tied back and heels complementing the outfit. Then came the final image the one that melted hearts. In it she leans down to greet her son, Jeh Ali Khan, who’d just returned from school in his uniform, giving him a warm kiss and a tight cuddle while her heels lie on the floor and her glam team stands in the background.

Sharing the moment, she captioned, “Mixing and Matching. Rocking and Rolling into #SpectacularSaudi. Absolutely love my shirt from @namzacouture and this gorgeous skirt from @re_ceremonial these guys are doing such amazing things. Last pic with my baby who just came back from school and had to give me a hug.” Fans were quick to shower the post with love, with one commenting, “Awww lovely photos, last one is the soulful,” and another: “Most beautiful woman on the earth Kareena Kapoor.”

 

The actress is also gearing up professionally her upcoming film Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar, began filming in September and is slated for a 2026 release. Sharing her excitement she said, “I cannot wait to work with one of the finest directors we have, @meghnagulzar, and alongside the magnificent @therealprithvi, whose work I deeply admire. To my dream team, #Daayra, let’s do this.”

 

By taking just a simple moment to kiss her son, the star showed that even amid fashion-flurries and professional commitments, family comes first.
