Kalank Trailer Launch: Varun Dhawan can't understand why Madhuri Dixit calls Sanjay Dutt 'sir'
The first trailer of the highly awaited film Kalank was unveiled on Wednesday in presence of Kalank cast including Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Kunal Kemmu and makers of the film. At the trailer launch, Varun quipped about how Madhuri Dixit was addressing Sanjay Dutt as sir.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt recreated Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt's 'Tamma Tamma' in Badrinath Ki Dulhania. At the trailer launch, Madhuri said, "It's wonderful. Fate was reckoning that we all four Alia, Varun and Sanjay sir work together."
To which, Varun Dhawan quipped saying, "I don't understand that now after 22 years why Madhuri ma'am calls Sanjay Dutt 'Sir' and he calls her 'Ma'am'." Everyone in the audience began to laugh.
Set in the 1940s, presented by Fox Star Studios, Kalank, produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will release on April 17.
