Janhvi Kapoor visits Tirupati to seek blessings, opts for traditional South Indian half-saree

Janhvi Kapoor visited Tirumala Temple and offered her prayers on Sunday. The actress was among the VIPs who benefited from the darshan. The actress had draped a half-saree and had worn traditional jewelry which is usually worn by South Indian girls. Sridevi’s eldest daughter had worn a mask and was the center of all eyes in the temple.

Janhvi Kapoor, who was escorted by a friend, accepted prasadam and blessings from the priests at the Ranganayakulu mandap. The actor frequently visits the shrine especially before undertaking a new project. The Tirumala Temple which Janhvi visited is located in Andhra Pradesh, attracts pilgrims from all over the world and is reputed as the world’s richest temple. As a teen, Janhvi often used to tag along with her late mother Sridevi to Tirumala Temple. It is said that Janhvi feels closer to her mother on her visits to the temple.

 

One the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to broadcast her forthcoming Valimai, Good Luck Jerry and Bhediya. Janhvi Kapoor is also shooting for Mili which is produced by her beloved father Boney Kapoor and is directed by Mathukutty Xavier. Along with Janhvi Kapoor, the film also stars Manoj Pahwa and Sunny Kaushal. The movie is a remake of the director's own Malayalam film Helen.
