Janhvi Kapoor made yet another striking fashion statement at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, this time at the official premiere screening of Homebound. For her second appearance of the day, Janhvi stepped out in a glamorous pistachio green custom creation by designer Anamika Khanna, blending ethnic elements with contemporary couture to deliver a head-turning moment.

The outfit featured a pistachio green organza gown with gold embroidered corset-style bodice only on the front with a flowing skirt, striking a balance between structure and softness. Janhvi’s back was left bare, giving full attention to a delicate back chain by Aurus Jewels, making it one of the standout accessories of the ensemble. Her rest of the jewellery, all of which was traditional Indian, also added richness and detail to the look. She wore a statement earcuff from Golecha Jewels, a jhumka and rings by Reja Gems, bangles by Radiant by Madhulika, and a bold gold kada again from Golecha Jewels. These elements were layered thoughtfully without overwhelming the look, enhancing its ethnic undertone.

 

 

The styling was spearheaded by Rhea Kapoor, with assistance from Sanya Kapoor, and supported by Diptee Agarwal, Bidipta, and Niyati. Makeup artist Savleen Manchanda and hairstylist Marce Pedrozo kept the beauty game subtle yet refined, with Janhvi’s hair tied into a sleek bun to highlight her bare back and the intricate jewellery. The unique fusion look paid homage to Indian craftsmanship while exuding global red-carpet appeal.

 

What added a personal touch to the moment was a comment from Janhvi’s rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, who reacted to her post with heart-eye and heart emojis, writing, “Wow wow wow”. The affectionate remark didn’t go unnoticed by fans, sparking further buzz around the couple’s relationship status.

 

 

This second look from Janhvi at Cannes only solidifies her as a fashion force—someone who can blend heritage with modernity effortlessly.
