Imran Khan attends Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding with alleged girlfriend Lekha Washington

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with longtime boyfriend and fiancé Nupur Shikhare in a registered marriage ceremony on January 3. A low-key wedding bash was hosted by the couple’s families to rejoice the joyous moment ahead of taking off to Rajasthan for another grand wedding ceremony.  While it was a private celebration with only near and dear ones in attendance, among the attendees was also Imran Khan who walked in with actress-model Lekha Washington.

For the unversed, Imran Khan is the son of Aamir Khan’ s sister and hence, also the cousin of Ira Khan. The adorable actor seems to be in the midst of rumours about his alleged relationship with actress Lekha Washington, which came to the forefront, soon after he announced his separation with Avantika Malik. While the latter was not a part of the wedding, photos of Imran and Lekha attending ceremony went viral on social media after it was posted by their cousin Zayn Marie.

 

In the past too, Zayn Marie has given glimpses of the Khan family on her social media and during the marriage registration ceremony of the couple, Zayn decided to share a photo dump of some of the most precious moments from the ceremony wherein among the photos with the bride and the rest of the guests of the evening, she posted a photo featuring Lekha Washington dressed in an ethnic fusion look along with Imran looking dapper in his well-suited avatar.

 

She captioned the post with a heartfelt note saying, “SOB - as in Sister of the Bride and ‘I’m going to sob about this for the next ten days’ @khan.ira I still can’t believe it ???????? only yesterday you were so small, and now you’ve married one of my most favourite people on this planet. Aaahhh I’m going to cry just typing this (cry emoji) I love you both so much @nupur_popeye blessings”, and concluded with an infinity emoji.

 

 

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare will also be holding a traditional wedding ceremony in Udaipur on January 8, followed by two grand receptions in the city for friends and family.
