House of Abhinandan Lodha and Esha Dharmendra Deol Design collaborate on luxury villa project at Alibaug, actress gets emotional speaking about father Dharmendra’s vision and contribution
The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) announced a distinguished collaboration with actor Esha Deol for the design of its marquee Luxury Villa project at Alibaug. This partnership brings together a shared commitment to refined living, where design transcends function to become an experience of emotion, elegance, and timeless sophistication.
At the heart of this collaboration lies a confluence of vision, HoABL’s pursuit of elevated lifestyles and Esha Deol’s intuitive design philosophy. The marquee project is envisioned as a sanctuary of curated living, seamlessly blending architecture, nature, and artistry.
Speaking at the occasion, Esha spoke fondly about her father, the late Dharmendra, in an emotional way. “Today, with immense gratitude, emotions and my father’s blessings, I give this dream a name – Esha Dharmendra Deol Design. Today is a very special moment for me. I think this feeling, excitement and these emotions, I felt the same back in 2000 when I was giving my mahurat shot for my first film. And today in 2026 as I take a completely new role, a new journey, the feelings are almost the same,” she said in the video of her speech shared on her Instagram.
The actor added, “This journey would be incomplete without mentioning my father Dharmendra ji. We both shared a passion for design and the special bond that we shared is something I carry with me even today. Papa and I would spend hours discussing different landscapes, house, simple places and he always would say, ‘Lage raho bete, karte raho’. And those words I carry even today with me, which guide me. It has his faith in my creativity that gave me the courage to wholeheartedly pursue it today. It had a gift he had given me. Yes, he loved doing all this. It is not just a symbol. It is his light that I carry forward.”
Esha also shared that from a very young age, design has had a very special place in her life. “Though life took me in a different direction, somewhere deep inside I always knew one day my love for interiors would finally find its voice. Back in the day, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of one of the top renowned interior designers of her time Mrs Neetu Kohli ji. She gave me my foundation in design, my base and it was through her guidance that I found my own style,” she said.
