Farah Khan visits Diana Penty's 100-year-old Mumbai home, calls it 'A piece of Mannat'

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently visited actor Diana Penty’s 100-year-old Mumbai home in the latest episode of her vlog featuring her cook, Dilip. The visit turned into a delightful tour of the heritage property, leaving Farah in awe of its vintage charm.

Farah Khan Finds ‘A Piece of Mannat’ in Diana Penty’s Home

 

In her vlog, Farah took her viewers inside Diana’s century-old residence, sharing glimpses of its antique interiors and colonial-era design. As she looked around the house, Farah couldn’t help but express her amazement, saying, “Please give me a house tour! What is this place? I feel like I’ve travelled back in time to a colonial-era home!”

 

While admiring a carved wooden table with a mirror, Farah asked curiously, “How old is this?” Diana’s mother replied, “Over 100 years old.” Laughing, Farah added, “This is over 100 years old — still older than me! I’m so happy to be in a place where things are older than me.”

 

Inside Diana Penty’s Heritage Kitchen

 

As Farah made her way to the kitchen, she couldn’t hide her excitement. “Wow! Look at this kitchen – it’s amazing!” she exclaimed. Turning to her cook, Dilip, she asked, “Have you ever seen a house this beautiful?” To which he smiled and replied, “No ma’am, never.”

 

Diana then mentioned that she also had a farm outside the house, which left Farah even more impressed. “How lovely! I feel like I’ve come to a different place. This doesn’t feel like Mumbai at all,” she said.

 

A Family Home with a Century of History

 

When Farah asked how long Diana’s family had lived there, the actor revealed, “Since my great-grandfather’s time — exactly 100 years ago. I am the fourth generation living here.”

 

Farah, clearly enchanted by the timeless architecture and warmth of the space, jokingly compared the house to Shah Rukh Khan’s famous residence, Mannat — a compliment that left Diana laughing in disbelief.
