A special screening of the war film Ikkis became a moment of national remembrance and honour as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated the family of Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal, whose bravery and supreme sacrifice continue to inspire generations.

With Ikkis, the makers attempt to bridge the gap between the battlefield and civilian life, and Rajnath Singh’s gesture of felicitating Arun Khetarpal’s family brought that sentiment to life reaffirming the nation’s gratitude to its soldiers and their loved ones.

 

Ikkis features an ensemble cast led by Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia, Jaideep Alhawat and the late veteran actor Dharmendta, is directed by Sriram Raghvan aims to blend scale with emotional authenticity. Backed by strong research Ikkis is slated for a theatrical release on January 1, 2026.
