Bigg Boss 19: Mridul Tiwari slams “unfair eviction”, calls Farhana “plain evil” and Backs Gaurav Khanna as the only winner

The exit of Mridul Tiwari from Bigg Boss 19 has stirred a fresh wave of debate among fans, with many calling his eviction one of the most unjust eliminations of the season. The reality-show contestant, who walked out only days ago, insists he left not with resentment, but with a sense of amusement at how events unfolded inside the house.

“People never stopped supporting me. And when they realised that the eviction was unfair, they voiced it out too,” Mridul told India Today in an interaction, reflecting on the massive outpouring of fan support he received once he stepped outside. Speaking about the repeated scrutiny his group faced — particularly contestants Pranit More and Gaurav Khanna — Mridul highlighted a pattern he found difficult to ignore. “It’s possible. When the other group got nominated, no one was evicted. But our group faced very tragic exits. I don't know why that was happening,” he noted.

Mridul also addressed his apology to Farhanna Bhatt and Kunickaa Sadanand, despite their hostile behaviour toward him inside the house. In his India Today interaction, he explained why he chose to let go of grudges: "There is a possibility they are good people. They may have done what they did just for the game. Hence, I thought it was better to end things there, so we can start afresh when needed. However, I must add that I was bullied during my captaincy. Farhana, on the other hand, was plain evil, and I am really surprised how she was saved during nominations."

One of the major talking points of Mridul’s journey was Salman Khan’s remark labelling him “invisible” on the show. Responding to that, he said, “You can see how high my ‘flight’ is right now. I am floating with the love that I have been receiving. As for being told that I was not 'seen' on the show, I was always amused. What does one need to do to be seen? Should I have broken furniture? I did what everyone else was doing, so I really wonder why I was not being shown.”

Even after his elimination, Mridul remains loyal to his closest ally in the house, Gaurav Khanna. Without hesitation, he declared Gaurav as the only deserving contender for the trophy. “After me, only Gaurav deserves to win. He’s straightforward, polite, and never abuses others. If someone has to win, it should be him. If someone apart from him wins, I will never take the victory seriously. It will feel useless to me, and I would never believe it,” he asserted.

As debates around Bigg Boss 19’s fairness continue, Mridul Tiwari’s unapologetically candid exit interview has added even more fire to the ongoing conversation.
