Award-winning Marathi actor debuts in Satya 2
align="right"/> While Puneet Singh has been in the limelight as the lead in Satya 2, another key character to look out for in the film is award-winning actor Amitriyaan. He bagged the title of best debutante for Marathi sports-centric film Manyaa The Wonder Boy at the Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Film Awards, which landed him the role of Nara is Satya 2.

Amitriyaan put in a lot of effort to look and feel the part. "My character Nara is inspired by Aamir Khan's Munna from Rangeela. Before the shoot began, I was sent to the shanties of Dongar to understand how Nara lives. During the shoot, I was made to have heavy eyes and ruffled hair and even hide my jaw-line," he says. With his rugged look and intricate characterisation, Amitriyaan is gung-ho about playing Nara in Satya 2.
Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Satya 2 is slated for release this October.
