Aryan Khan on his directorial debut with Stardom: “I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle”

Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, is poised to step into the director's chair with his debut project, a six-episode series titled Stardom. The series, which began production in July last year, promises to be a star-studded affair with cameo appearances from some of Bollywood's biggest names, including Shah Rukh Khan himself, along with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol. Headlining the series is Lakshya Lalwani, who is set to portray a central role in this fictionalized narrative offering viewers a glimpse into the inner workings of the Hindi film industry.

While Aryan Khan and his team has kept the details of the series under wraps, his debut as a director is highly anticipated. In a recent interview with GQ India, Aryan Khan talked about the difference between a fashion creative and entrepreneur and working as a director. “They’re both creatively stimulating in different ways. As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to the logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle,” he said.

 

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the series will see Aryan Khan make his directorial debut.
