All you wanted to know about 'IIFA Awards 2010'

If there's one place, where the stars come shine, shine and shine, then, it has to be the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), the place where excitement and glamour knows no crescendo. After an enchanting and enticing series of memorable years, the IIAFA journey continues to grow by leaps and bounds and how!

After enchanting audiences in The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel last year, this year, IIFA is being held at the palatial country of Sri Lanka. And it took the stature of none other than 'Mr. Bollywood' himself Shri Amitabh Bachchan to announce the official launch of the 11th IIFA Awards. These awards are being held in the exotic Emerald Island from June 3rd till June 5th 2010.

Continuing the tradition of excitement and super excitement, the IIFA Weekend, Sri Lanka will be a culmination of mega events that brings the Indian cinema to the world. It includes the hi-profile FICCI IIFA Global Business Forum, the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza, the IIFA Foundation celebrity cricket match, world premieres of Indian films and the climax of the Weekend, the spectacular IIFA Awards. Needless to say that, with all of this, the IIFA Awards is the biggest South Asian media event and is considered among the most-watched global annual events.
