Akansha Ranjan Kapoor praises Kiara Advani for her supportive and calming presence during filming; says, “She was absolutely amazing”

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, who made her debut in the film industry with the Bollywood movie Guilty, is captivating audiences with her impressive acting skills. After the success of her recent web series Gram Chikitsalay, the actress had a delightful chat with Filmygyan. In the conversation, she opened up about her close relationship with co-star Kiara Advani.

During the interview, the emerging actress praised Kiara for her supportive and caring presence on set, especially highlighting how the Kabir Singh star made her feel comfortable. Akansha exclaimed, “She was absolutely amazing, man. She was fantastic!”

 

She went on to explain, “At that time, Kabir Singh had just released, so there was a lot of buzz. All of us newcomers were just buzzing around, unsure of what was going to happen. And there she was—this calming, nurturing presence.”

 

Akansha went on to mention that Kiara had a special mix of being both playful and nurturing on set. She said, “She would jokingly slap me for saying silly things, but she was like this mother figure. She almost killed me with kindness—but most nicely!”

 

Reflecting on Kiara's constant warmth and support during filming, the actress wrapped up by saying, “When we were together, she would always be so complimentary, so warm. We became extremely close during Guilty. That bond was honestly a by-product of just how lovely she was to all of us.”

 

Talking about her professional projects, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor was recently seen in Gram Chikitsalay. The Amazon Prime series, directed by Rahul Pandey and produced by Deepak Kumar Mishra, stars Akansha alongside a talented cast, including Amol Parashar, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Garima Vikrant Singh. With a script penned by Shreya Srivastava and Vaibhav Suman, the series combines humor with heartfelt moments, a balance Akansha was excited to delve into.

 

Kiara Advani, meanwhile, is gearing up for her appearance in the much-anticipated War 2, which also features Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles. To build excitement for the film, the makers dropped the teaser today. On a personal note, Kiara is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child with husband Sidharth Malhotra.
