Ahead of Yaariyan 2, Meezaan Jafri shares his bond with his real-life siblings; says, “I used to be ragged and bullied the most”

Meezaan Jafri made his big screen debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production Malaal. Presently, the actor is all set to return with his forthcoming film, Yaariyan 2, in which he is all set to share the screen with Divya Khosla Kumar and Pearl V Puri. The narrative of the film revolves around the intricate bond among three cousins.

 

Ahead of Yaariyan 2, Meezaan Jafri shares his bond with his real-life siblings; says, “I used to be ragged and bullied the most”

 

Speaking about siblings, Meezaan recently shared his bond with his real-life siblings. The actor expressed, “I have a lot of cousins, and I am the youngest, and hence I used to be ragged and bullied the most. But I also have a real brother and a real sister, so I could relate to those emotions in depth, mainly on sets because in the film too, I have a brother and a sister (played by Divya and Pearl V Puri). I could immediately connect those scenes and situations and those circumstances because I had gone through them with my own siblings.”

 

He further added, “I think that is one major reason why the audiences who will come to watch our film will easily relate to these scenes and emotions that the directors have so beautifully created in the film.”

 

Meezaan plays the younger cousin of Divya and Pearl in the film. The film will be released theatrically on October 20, 2023. Apart from Yaariyan 2, Meezaan also has some projects in his pipeline, which will be announced soon.
