Finally after much talk and promotion we see the release of the film STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2. Starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria the film which is directed by Punit Malhotra comes with immense expectations, especially after its predecessor rocked the box office. But will the film entice the audiences is the question of the hour.

Reports suggest that STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 has taken off on a steady note with occupancy rate being pegged at 20%. If that wasn’t all, with a wide release across 3000+ screens the business of the film is expected to see good growth over its opening weekend. In fact, predictions state that STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 could well see its opening day business drawing in anything between Rs. 12-14 cr, while the opening weekend business of the film could easily touch Rs. 45 cr. Catering to the metro multiplex audience the business of STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 will definitely see an increase in footfalls and collections over evening and night shows.

 

On the whole, with no competition from other Bollywood releases STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 that enjoys a solo release is expected to do well. However, with the recently released Hollywood actioner AVENGERS: ENDGAME still running the film might see its audience share being dented.
