The Shahid Kapoor – Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh released last week on Friday, and since then there has been no stopping the Sandeep Vanga directorial at the box office. After stunning the box office in its first week, Kabir Singh has started off on a good note in its second week as well.
In this box office analysis, we take a look at the second Saturday collections of Kabir Singh while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 17.10 cr on its second Saturday, the business of Kabir Singh has recorded better numbers than previous releases like Padmaavat that collected Rs. 16 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 14.92 cr, Krrish 3 that collected Rs. 14.23 cr and Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 13.35 cr. In fact, Kabir Singh has managed to become the 6th highest all-time 2nd Saturday grosser.
However, despite the stellar performance of the film, the business of Kabir Singh does not surpass other releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 26.5 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 23.07 cr, Sanju that collected Rs. 22.20 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 19.25 cr, and PK that collected Rs. 17.16 cr.
