JugJugg Jeeyo Box Office: Film nears the Rs. 85 cr mark after five week run

The Raj Mehta directorial JugJugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh released a while back to a welcoming response from the audience. After enjoying a good opening weekend the business of the film continued to see growth over its first week running. Now weeks after its release and subsequent newer releases hitting screens the Dharma Productions – Vaicom 18 production has managed to hold its own in theatres.

In fact, still running after its fifth week the business of JugJugg Jeeyo has been gradually inching closer to the Rs. 85 cr mark. With its current collections pegged at Rs. 84.96 cr, JugJugg Jeeyo has emerged as the sixth highest grosser of 2022. If that wasn’t enough, if compared to non-dubbed Hindi releases the Varun Dhawan starrer ranks as the fourth highest grosser of the year. Preceding the film on the list of highest grosser of 2022 are previous releases like KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 434.70 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 274.31 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 252.90 cr, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which collected Rs. 185.92 cr, and Gangubai Kathiawadi which had collected Rs. 129.10 cr.

 

As of now, JugJugg Jeeyo still manages to find takers among the audience. In fact, with the newer releases not performing as expected at the box office, the Raj Mehta directorial has received an added lease on life in theatres. In fact, trade opines that the business of JugJugg Jeeyo will continue to slow march towards the Rs. 90 cr mark.
