Fukrey 3 Box Office: The comic saga hits Rs. 50 crores mark in 5 days extended weekend

Fukrey 3 has scored a very good five-day extended weekend for itself as Rs. 55.17 crores have been accumulated already. It's always a pleasant sight to celebrate various milestones and especially when it comes to a mid-budget film then even Rs. 50 crores is a reason to pop the champagne. That should happen now for this Pulkit Smarat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Richa Chadha franchise, which has turned out to be a success in its third instalment as well.

The film took an expectedly good start for itself on Thursday with Rs. 8.82 crores coming in and now on the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti on Monday, it has gathered Rs. 11.69 crores more. This is impressive, especially since the film could never take it easy due to Jawan mania still being prevalent. It isn't as if the Shah Rukh Khan starrer was a pushover in its fourth week and hence the task was cut out for Fukrey 3 to be a really entertaining film if it didn't have to risk being road-rolled by Jawan.

 

That's the reason why when this Mridghdeep Singh Lamba film is bringing in these kind of numbers then it's indeed commendable because it shows that audiences have a genuine interest in what they are seeing on screen. From here, all the film needs to do is sustain well and stay around 50% of the Friday score of Rs. 7.81 crores. A number in the range of Rs. 3.50-4 crores today would be good for this Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani production as it would help it push its way through into the second weekend as well.
