Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh starrer has an UNBELIEVABLE Monday, has minimal drop from Friday, almost comes close to Rs. 25 crores mark
The signs were there on Sunday itself when the film almost touched the Rs. 45 crores mark by bringing in Rs. 44.80 crores. This was a huge leap over Friday numbers of Rs. 28.60 crores. Hence, it seemed quite possible that 18-20 crores would well be hit on Monday if the momentum continued like this. However, what has happened actually is totally unbelievable. Dhurandhar has collected a massive Rs. 24.30 crores and this isn’t something that one could ever see coming.
In really quick time, the film has become a rage, and audiences are now bracing up to catch it in theatres. Since this Aditya Dhar film is one of the rare big screen outings which is actually making for an excellent cinematic experience, there is enhanced curiosity to check it out, especially with word of mouth being fantastic as well. There is no more talk about the excessive length or violence, and what’s really bringing in audience footfalls is inherent entertainment quotient that the Ranveer Singh led action spy drama boasts of.
Dhurandhar has now reached Rs. 130.80 crores and will go past Rs. 150 crores milestone today. The makers haven’t opted to go for reduced ticket prices on Tuesday but still footfalls will be quite high today as well, which means Rs. 20 crores milestone will be comfortably crossed. The film will have a first week of around Rs. 175 crores and whole Rs. 200 Crore Club entry will take place in the second weekend itself, eventually it would be aiming for an entry into the Rs. 300 Crore Club.
