China Box Office: Sultan collects USD 0.42 mil on Day 4 in China; total collections at Rs. 24.40 cr

The Salman Khan starrer Sultan, which released last week in China, has not been performing as expected. In fact, the film, which created a stir at the box office in India, opened to a very tepid response from the audience in the Chinese market. Similarly the business of the film at the China Box office has been lacklustre.

After opening on a slow note, the collections of Sultan at the China Box office saw a slight spike in numbers on its second day. However, on the ensuing third and fourth day the collections of the film have dipped again. In fact, the business of Sultan on Day 4 in China is pegged at just USD 0.42 million [Rs. 2.98 cr]. Surprisingly, the business of Sultan, though unlike previous Bollywood releases in China, has been seeing a rapid decline in collections with each passing day. As of now the total collections of Sultan at the China box office are pegged at USD 3.43 million [Rs. 24.40 cr].

 

Given the current trend, predictions state that the business of Sultan within the Chinese market will face a tough time clocking Rs. 50 cr.
