Sridevi to receive outstanding achievement award in IIFA 2016

 

Making her debut as a child artist, Sridevi has ruled not just Bollywood but also the South industry for almost a decade and when she made a comeback with English Vinglish, she was welcomed with rave reviews from critics and masses alike. Sridevi will be flying to Spain to accept the Outstanding Achievement Award, IIFA 2016 for her work in Indian cinema. The 17th IIFA ceremony will be held during the four day long weekend, from June 23 to June 26 in Madrid.

 

Known as the first female superstar of India, Sridevi's most memorable Bollywood films include Sadma, Tohfa, Chalbaaz, Mr. India, Chandni, Lamhe, Laadla, Judaai among others. The actress is currently gearing up for Mom starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a cameo and produced by her husband Boney Kapoor.
