Kshitij Creations' Junoon stars Chandrachur Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Sonali Kulkarni, Kiran Kumar & Govind Namdeo in lead roles. The movie tells the story of Veer, a TV reporter-cum-newscaster of Sach TV whose stories are so accurate that he seems to know the voice of truth. He lives with his wife and son. One day, an unknown person kidnaps his son. They demand that he should read out a certain passage live on TV, in exchange for his son's life. Driven to near insanity, Veer agrees and reads the news. What happens next is the edge-of-the-seat entertainment. Shilpa Shetty plays a tomboyish kind of role. The movie begins with a flashback wherein she is shown a young and a bubbly girl and in the second half, she is shown a matured and an intellectual person. Her father is a politician and she is madly in love with Veer.
