Manoj Kumar to be felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement Award

The veteran actor Manoj Kumar will be conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Nashik International Film Festival, in lieu of his contribution to Indian cinema. For the uninitiated, the said film festival, first started in the year 2008 and is organized by the Mumbai based Metro Foundation of India and the Dadasaheb Phalke Film and Television Institute.

Talking about this prestigious recognition, Manoj Kumar said that the Nashik International Film Festival is very competitive in nature and is being endorsed by the Government of Maharashtra. He also added that he only felt humbled after (being chosen) for the Lifetime Achievement award. On a parting note, like a true blue workaholic, he says that he will keep on working and that he wants to die with my shoes on. That's simply what legends are made of.
