Farhan Akhtar refuses remuneration from Tata Group

Post the success of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Farhan signed about seven product endorsements back to back.

 

Buzz is that Farhan has signed up with the Tata group for three commercials for a voiceover. And as a token of appreciation, the company gave him Rs. 15 lakh, which he refused! Not because the remuneration was less, but he had other plans. A source close to the brand said that Farhan decided not to take the money for himself, but will be donating it to charities - Mijwan and Magic bus. When asked about this, Farhan replied, "I have the highest regard for Ratan Tata and his philanthropic nature. Since this is my first personal association with his group, I felt it would be right to do it in a benevolent spirit."

On the film front, Farhan returned from Ladakh few days ago from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkah Bhaag, His next schedule is about to start in 10 days.
