Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar to visit Sophia school in Bengaluru

In what seems to be a mere co-incidence, we hear that Deepika Padukone and Farhan Akhtar will be visiting the same place in Bengaluru, however, for different purposes. The actors will be present at the campus of the prestigious Sophia school, which coincidentally is the place where Deepika Padukone completed her schooling.

 

Being a former student, Deepika Padukone decided to plan a special visit to her school for a fund raiser event which aims at building a new wing in the school as a part of their expansion plan. She was approached by the officials of the school a month ago and the faculty requested her to be part of the event. She had a brief conversation with the faculty where they shared details of the event. Soon after that, Deepika confirmed her presence and requested her team to ensure her date can be worked out as she was very keen to make time and visit her school.

On the other hand, Farhan Akhtar is going to be performing at the same school. Farhan has been on a performing spree with most of his concerts being held at college and school venues and hence, the actor decided to choose the Sophia school for his next performance in the city. While Farhan Akhtar is juggling between his varied careers from direction to production to acting, live performances have been his priority for the past one year.
