After the audience and critics, veteran actor-filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar has now heaped praise on Ranveer’s craft and dedication as an actor.
Speaking about Ranveer’s performances at Vaibhav Munjal’s podcast, Sachin Pilgaonkar said, “Acting mujhe Ranveer ki 83 mein bahot achi lagti hai. Mujhe Ranveer as an actor bahot pasand hai. Wo ghusta hai andar. Wo mujhe bahot pasand hai aise actor jo ghuske kaam karte hai. Toh main definitely usko 100 rupaye dena chahooga jab bhi woh milega. Mujhe even Dhurandhar mein uska kaam bahot acha laga. Toh Askhay Khanna logon ko bahot pasand aaya, bahot achha kaam bhi kiya usne, author backed role tha uska. Isko limitation thi usko as a spy nahin batana tha ke wo kya hai. Toh apne aap ko rok ke rakhna. Jo kuch Ranveer ne kiya hai, rokna apne aap ko lajawab kiya.”
The veteran actor particularly appreciated Ranveer’s ability to hold back and maintain mystery in Dhurandhar, something that became one of the biggest highlights of his performance as the spy protagonist.
With Dhurandhar The Revenge, Ranveer Singh has also rewritten box office history by becoming the founder of the Rs. 1000 crores Hindi net club, further cementing his position as a box office force.
