Prosecuting Attorney Seema (Hema Malini) proceeds with the criminal prosecution of Deepak Srivastav (Rajesh Khanna), who is accused of Murder. She submits to the Judge to not be fooled by the innocent looks and the silence of the accused, as she will prove that the accused was in fact a cold-blooded murderer who killed a Courtesan by the name of Munnibai. As the trial proceeds, so that Deepak's life, complicated by the fact that Seema was in love with the accused several years ago.
