Vrushakarma: Theatrical rights of Naga Chaitanya starrer acquired by Dil Raju for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka
Vrushakarma is described as a mythical thriller that combines ancient mysteries, mythological elements and suspense. The makers have been gradually introducing the film’s setting through promotional material, including posters and a behind-the-scenes glimpse. A video released on Sunday showcased an elaborate cave set constructed for a key portion of the narrative, offering a look at the production design.
Naga Chaitanya plays the lead role, with Meenakshi Chaudhary starring opposite him. Sparsh Shrivastava has been cast as the antagonist. The film is being mounted on what the makers describe as the biggest budget of Naga Chaitanya’s career, and they have also indicated that its pre-release business has reached a career high for the actor. However, further financial details have not been disclosed.
The technical team includes cinematographer Ragul D Herian, composer Ajaneesh B Loknath, production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala and editor Naveen Nooli. Karthik Dandu has directed the film, while BVSN Prasad and Sukumar B have produced it. Narasimha Chary Chennoju is the executive producer.
With its December 4 release date approaching, the makers are preparing to step up the promotional campaign. The acquisition of the theatrical rights for three key southern markets adds to the film’s distribution arrangements as it heads towards its planned worldwide release.
Further details about the film’s plot and additional promotional activities are expected to emerge in the run-up to its theatrical debut.
