In short, the movie dissapointed me big time. I don't usually waste my time writing a review for a movie i thought was bad, but this one let me down so much that i thought i needed to inform those who haven't seen it yet to not waste their time on this movie. What upsets me even more is how biased the film critics are these days. Even Jab We Met did not get as good of a review as this one even though JWM was ten times better......there are countless other examples like this. Anyways, coming back to the movie, the only good things about the movie were its music, star cast, and also the kal part (was bearable). But the aaj part was just so unrealistic and stupid....i agree that today's generation is a lot different from yesteryears', but its nowhere close to the way it was depicted in the movie (maybe its somewhat true for foreigners, but not for us indians at least). Also, no offense to Imtiaz Ali, I still very much respect the man, but his direction faltered quite a bit this time......especially in the initial portions, where everything seemed so confusing. I was left in the anticipation of something exciting to happen any moment, but unfortunately, that never came......the whole film was so slow paced and boring. This one's not worth to spend any money on, so i would advise people to stay away from this one.
