Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is one of a kind. I went into the theatre looking forward to have a good time and the film took me to a make-shift feel good realm and captivated my mind for the entire duration of the movie.
Any sane person would love Surinder Sahni and SRK's portrayal of the same. The character of Sahni has been immaculately crafted to perfection. As is expected of Shah Rukh Khan, his performance keeps you hooked for the entire duration of the movie. The other protagonist, Raj played by SRK is worth watching too. His character could have been even more defined.
Anushka Sharma leaves an indelible mark as a debutant. There are no traces of a novice entrant. She is an ethereal beauty and carries of the role with matching elan.
Vinay Pathak is endearingly friendly. The comic timing is superb and stands on his own despite the over powering presence of Shah Rukh Khan.
The honey moon pictures and the crisp commentary from Surinder Sahni escorts you out of the hall with smiles on your face.
I believe we need courage to hail good things and put down bad flicks. For all those people who have put forward their biased views, the reply is that the film has succeeded in mammoth proportions. In today's mediocre times, films like RNBDJ should be a relief from all those mundane activities and a shy of relief to all our ailing minds.
Mr. Taran Adarsh - Why don't you do some thing else for a living? Your reviews are seldom devoid of bias. Does not do any good for indiafm, does it? You rated 1.5 for Devdas and you have marked Rab Ne... with a meagre 2. Congratulations, you could not have been more off the mark. A critic should shed off his personal preferences and get into the mold of the audiences and watch the movie. The audiences have already given a 5 for the movie, so your 2 only goes on to show the bias that you harbor for some people related with Rab Ne... Grow up, Mr Critic, or perhaps change your profession.
Rab Ne... has the feel-good factor that is so very essential in today's times... Do not miss this movie for the world and better still, say no to Taran Adarsh's reviews as much as you say no to smoking.
