After winning hearts in the south, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to impress the audience in the north. Currently, he is busy with the promotions his web debut show Farzi, in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. Besides this, he will also mark his debut in the Hindi film industry with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Speaking of the same, Vijay opened up about his experience of working with SRK, who is currently making headlines for Pathaan.
It all happened during his conversation with Indian Express. Sethupathi stated that working with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan was an unforgettable experience. Elaborating further he also called the superstar “gentle and sweet” for helping him feel at ease during the shoot.
The portal quoted him saying, “He was very sweet. It was a very good experience. I was a bit nervous on the first day because he is a very big artist, but he made me very comfortable. He didn’t have a scene on that day, but he was there to make me feel comfortable. He is very sweet; I can talk with him… He is a gentleman; I really had a good time with Shah Rukh, sir.”
Talking about Jawan, Vijay Sethupathi will clash with Shah Rukh Khan, who reportedly will be seen in a dual role. Helmed by Atlee, Jawan is touted as an action thriller where Sethupathi will play the antagonist. Along with him, the film will also feature Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra in important roles. It is slated to release on June 2.
Coming back to Sethupathi’s web show, Farzi, the eight-episode series, will be released on Amazon Prime Video on February 10. It is directed by The Family Man fame director-duo Raj & DK.
