Kangana Ranaut has not had a great 2017. After all, her first film of the year, Rangoon, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, turned out to be a big box office disaster. Her second film Simran, directed by Hansal Mehta, seemed interesting. But the film ended up having negative vibes after she blasted Hrithik Roshan, Aditya Pancholi, Adhyayan Suman and others on the popular TV show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. The move helped her getting screen time but didn’t help the film much. Simran carried mixed reports and failed at the box office. Moreover, she got injured twice on the sets of her upcoming film Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi.

But one aspect where she scored well is with her new Manali house. It’s an eight-bedroom-bungalow spread across three levels, with the staff quarters on the lower ground, the ground floor dedicated to entertainment and the first floor as Kangana's private space. Interior designer Shabnam Gupta has designed the house and she came on board after Kangana Ranaut was impressed by her work in Irrfan Khan’s Andheri home. Kangana’s brief to her was that she is a mountain girl and that she wants to be true to her roots.

Two pictures of the property are now out – one clicked in the day while one snapped at night. And it looks quite grand and classic. On the outside, it’s painted in grey and has clay roof tiles imported from Europe. Moreover, it also has the traditional chimney and traditional mountain steps. The bungalow enjoys a breath taking view of the Himalayas.

As per reports, this bungalow of Kangana Ranaut has become quite a talk of the town. The locals can already be seen taking selfies outside it, despite the fact that the actor is still putting the final touches to it. Moreover, reports also stated that the neighbours are thrilled that a popular actor and ‘Himachal ki beti’ (as she is referred to reportedly) has come to stay amidst them and have been sending her milk, vegetables and food items to make her stay comfortable.
