Aamir Khan is one of those stars who has given several box office successes. The actor has always been compared with the other two Khans of Bollywood- Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan- when it comes to giving box office hits. Although Aamir Khan is often referred to Mr. Perfectionist, he doesn't consider himself a superstar. Then, who does Aamir Khan consider a superstar?

During the trailer launch of his upcoming production Secret Superstar, Aamir Khan was asked who, according to him, is a superstar in the Hindi film industry. To this, Aamir Khan replied, "For me, firstly comes Amitabh Bachchan. Then comes Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan. There are so many superstars. Even Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are superstars."

Following the same conversation, Aamir Khan was later asked whether he considered himself as the most bankable superstar amongst the three Khans as Shah Rukh Khan is trying hard to give a big blockbuster whereas Salman Khan's last film Tubelight did not do well at the box office. To this, Aamir said, "See, you have to understand that creative work is very unpredictable. All of us try our best. Sometimes, we succeed in what we are trying to do and sometimes we don't. I don't think one or two films affect someone's stardom gets. I think Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are huge stars, in fact, are megastars. I, myself, am a fan of their work. I don't really compare like that. Each one is unique and different."

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has an extended cameo in his upcoming production Secret Superstar. Written and directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar is a story about a 14-year-old girl from Vadodara whose dream of becoming a singer changes her life and of everyone around her. The film will hit the screens this Diwali. Besides this, Aamir Khan will be seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya's film Thugs of Hindostan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is scheduled for 2018 release.
